A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DECLARING THAT PORTION OF HUNTINGTON DRIVE CO}n10NLY KNOWN AS NORTH HUNTINGTON DRIVE, COLORADO STREET AND THAT PORTIGN OF ORANGE AVE- NUE COMMONLY KNOIIN AS EXTENSION OF ORANGE AVENUE, IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA, TO BE BOULEVARDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS AND PRO- VISIONS OF SECTION 23 OF ORDINANCE NO. 200 OF SAID CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOIlS: 6 'I That in accordance with the terms and provisions of Section 23 of Ordinance No. 200 of said City of Arcadia, entitled: "An Ordinance of the Board of Trustees of the City of Arcadia reg- ulating tr?ffic upon the public streets and repealing all Ordi- nances or parts of Ordinances in conflict therewi thll, adopted June 15, 1927, the following Streets and Avenues are hereby de- clared to constitute Boulevards for the purposes of Section 23 of said Ordinance No. 200~ That portion of HUNTINGTON DRIVE commonly known as North Huntington Drive; COLORADO STREET, and That portion of ORANGE AVENUE commonly known as Exten- sion of Orange Avenue, all in said City of Arcadia. The Chief of Police shall place and maintain or cause to be placed and maintained at such points as said City Council may direct, where a Street or Avenue intersects any of the above Boulevards and at or near the property linesof said Boulevardij, appropriate signs upon the streets or devices or marks on the road17ay, such signs, devices or marks to bear the l70rd "Stppll or the words "Boulevard stop II , in such posi tion and of letters of a size to be clearly legible at a distance of fifty (50) feet along the Street or Avenue so intersecting any of said Boulevards. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. The foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meet- ing of the City Council held on the 18th. day of February, 1931, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to-17it: -1- .
