THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, there are a considerable number of Unemployed in the City of Arcadia, and UEEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles have indicated a willingness to supply Relief Labor and pay for such:Labor for widening and improving Huntington Drive within said City of Arcadia, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Arcadia hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said Los Angeles County to supply 2000 days Labor necessary to complete the removal, of materials, grading and paving of said Huntington Drive within the corporate Limits of ssid City of Arcadia, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: Tha~ the City Council of said City of Arcadia pledges said~oard of Supervisors that said City of Arcadia will'provide the proper supervision and equipment to properly utilize the Labor ~o be provided-by the_County of Los Angeles for all of the above work and improvement on said Hunting- ton Drive. The City Clerk of the City of Arcadia shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. The foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meet- ing of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 1st. day of August" 1933, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to~wit: AYES: Councilmen, Daniels, Krebs, Link, Schrader and Seaman, NOES: None, and signed and approved this 1st. day of August, 1933.
