THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, Orange Avenue in said Oity of Areadia, has been designated by Los Angeles County Regional Planning Commission as a Secondary Highway, and connects Pasadena and Monrovia, as well as Cities to the East, and the said County has completed a Grade Separation on said Orange Avenue under the Santa Fe Railway trac and is now paving said Highway to Santa Anita Avenue, NOW THEaEFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Areadia hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County to furnish said City the sum of $15,008.00 to pay for a 40-foot Asphaltic Pavement on said Orange Avenue from Santa Anita Avenue Easterly to the City limits of the City of llonrovia- present oenter strip of pavement to be left in place wherever practicable and approximately 2 inches crete placed over said Pavement, with shoulders of Asphaltic Con- extended to eitheJ Side, making the roaduay 40 feet in uidth and 6 inches of pave- mente BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the said City Oouncil hereb I pledges said Board of Supervisors that said City of Arcadia will provide proper supervision and equipment to properly utilize the I labor to do such grading and paving as may be required on said Orange Avenue. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ftesolution. The foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meet- ing of the City Council of the City of Areadia, held on the 5th. day of September, 1933, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to-wit: AYES: Councilmen, Daniels, Krebs, Link, Schrader and Seaman, NOES: None, and signed and approved this 5th. day of September, 1933.
