RESOLUTION NO. 5005
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARCADIA ORDERING THE ANNEXATION TO THE
ARCADIA CONSOLIDATED LIGHTING DISTRICT
(ANNEXATION NO. ll).
WHEREAS, on October 16, 1981 there was filed with the City Clerk
a report of the City Engineer made pursuant to the Street Lighting Act
of 1919, Section 18000, et seq., of the Streets and Highways Code,
which report contains a map of the lands which are proposed to be
detached from existing zones and to be annexed to Arcadia Consolidated
Lighting District, and the particular zones into which said lands are to
be incorporated, and a statement of the nature and extent of the pro-
posed improvement, and the estimated cost thereof; and
WHEREAS, on December 1, 1981 the City Council duly held a public
hearing for the purpose of hearing protests to the annexation to and
detachment of said lands from said lighting district and the proposed
,improvement; and
WHEREAS, no protests were presented by

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Said report of the City Engineer dated October 20,
1981, on file in the office of the City Clerk, is approved and adopted,
the protests, if any, are overruled and the proposed assessment as set
forth in said report is hereby confirmed and i~ is hereby ordered that said
improvements be made and that the levying and collection of assessments
shall be done in accordance with the Alternative Procedure for levying
and Collecting Assessments on an Ad Valorem Basis as set forth in
Chapter 8.5 of the Street Lighting Act of 1919.
Said lands are hereby' annexed to the Arcadia Consolidated Lighting
District and are incorporated into said zones of said lighting district,

as shown on a map consisting of six sheets, which map is a part of
said engineer's report and is hereby incorporated herein by reference.
The improvement consists of furnishing and maintaining electric
lighting for said lands, which are in Zone B, as follows:

Power and maintenance costs for street lighting including esti-
mated cost adjustments, were used to calculate the estimated costs for
each of the annexation areas for the next fiscal year and are itemized
as follows:

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia held on the
15th day of December, 1981 by the affirmative vote of at least three
