A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARCADIA CONSENTING TO ANNEXATION
NO. 45 (9182 HUNTINGTON' DRIVE) TO THE CITY
OF ARCADIA.
WHEREAS, on August 29, 1975, the owners of all the terri-
tory proposed to be annexed and designated as Annexation No. 45
(9182 Huntington Drive) have petitioned for annexation to the
City of Arcadia; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the
County of Los Angeles, California, did, on April 28, 1976, in
sessions duly assembled, approve the proposed annexation boundaries
of Annexation No. 45 and did authorize the City Council of the
City of Arcadia to annex such territory without. notice and hearing
by said legislative body and without. an election, all in accordance
with Section 54797.1 of the Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Arcadia does
hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter
described and does hereby further resolve that the said territory
be and is hereby annexed to the City of Arcadia.
Said territory is all that certain real property in the
County of Los Angeles, State of California, within the following
described boundaries:
Beginning at the intersection of the easterly line of
Lot 2, Tract No. 10815 as per map recorded in Book 188,
pages 7 and 8 of Maps in the office of the Recorder of

Los Angeles County, said line also being on the westerly
boundary of the City of Arcadia, and a line being northerly
distant 50 feet and parallel with the center line of
Duarte Road; thence westerly along. said parallel line to
its intersection with a line being easterly distant
50 feet and parallel with the center line of Rosemead
Boulevard; thence northerly along last said parallel line
to the southerly line of Huntington Drive, as same
existed on November 25, 1975; thence easterly along
said southerly line to the westerly boundary of the City
of Arcadia; thence southerly along said westerly boundary
and following same through its various courses and
distances to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed, on the
thirty-first day following the adoption of this resolution, to make
under the seal of the City of Arcadia and to transmit to the
Secretary of the State of California, a certified copy of this
resolution giving the date of its adoption.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed, at the appropriate time, to file in the office of the
County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles an affidavit stating
all the requirements of the law pertaining to the annexation pro-
ceedings have been complied with. Said affidavit shall be accom-
panied by a certified copy of the boundary description of the
property annexed, as set forth in this resolution, and also by a map
delineating said boundaries.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is also authorized and
directed, at the appropriate time, to file with the County Assessor
of the County of Los Angeles and with the State Board of Equaliza-
tion a statement setting forth the legal description of the
boundaries of the territory so annexed, together with a map or
plat indicating such boundaries in compliance with Sections 54900
to 54904, inclusive, of the Government Code.

SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this resolution and cause the same to be published
as required by law.
! HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Arcadia held on the
