RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 717.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COID1CIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SETBACK LINES ON A PORTION
OF HOLLY AVENUE IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the publiC interest and convenience re-
quire and it is the intentIon of the Oity Oouncil of said City
of Arcadia to establish a setback line on Holly Avenue, from the
Southerly line of the rIght of way of the Southern Pacific Company
to the Southerly lIne of Lot 1, Tract No. 951, in the City of Ar-
cadia, Oounty of Los Angeles, Stata of Oalifornia, as per Map re-
corded in Book 17, Page 28 of Maps, Records of said Uounty,dis-
tant seventy (70) feet Easterly from and parallel to the Easterly
line of said Holly Avenue.
SECTION 2: Notice Is hereby given that Tuesday, the
3rd. day of AprIl, 1934, at eight o'clock P. H. of said day, 1n
the Council Chamber of said Oity Counoil, in the Oity Hall of
said Oity, any and all persons having any objeotione to said pro-
posed setbaok line may appear before said City Council and show
cause why said proposed setback line should not be established in
accordance with this Resolution.
8ECTION 3: The Superintendent of Streets shall post or
oause to be posted conspicuously along said portion of Holly Ave-
nue along whioh it is proposed to fix and establish said setback
lIne, as hereinabove specIfied, at not more than three hundred
feet in distanoe apart, but not less than three in all, notices
of the passage of this Resolution of Intention.
The City Olerk shall oert1fy to the adoption of th1s
Resolution and shall cause the same to be published once in The
Arcadia News, a weekly newspaper published and circulated In said
City of Arcadia, and hereby designated for that purpose.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meet-
Ing of the City Council of the CIty of ArcadIa, held on the 6th.
day of Uarch, 1934, by the affirmative vote of at least three
