HomeMy WebLinkAbout4175 , L/ RESOLUTION NO. 4175 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY, OF ARCADIA CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING PURSUANT TO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 8831 RELATING TO THE UNDERGROUND INSTALLATION OF FACILITIES FOR SUPPLYING ELECTRICITY, CO~~NICATIONS, ETC, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1, Notice is hereby given that Tuesday, the 19th day of January, 1971, at 7:30 o'clock p,m. on said day, in the Council Chambers of said City Council in the City Hall, 240 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia, California, is the time and place set for a public hearing for the purpose of determining whether the public necessity, health, safety or welfare requires the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures within the hereinafter designated area of the City and the underground installation of wires and facilities for supplying electric, commu- nication, or similar or associated service within said area. The City Clerk shall notify all affected property owners as shown on the last equalized assessment roll and utilities concerned by mail of the time and place of such hearing at least ten (10) days prior to January 19, 1970. All persons interested shall be given an opportunity to be heard at said hearing. Said area is described as follows: Parcell - That portion of Michillinda Avenue which is entirely in the City of Arcadia and specifically described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of Arcadia City Boundary as it existed on December 1, 1970 and the centerline of Colorado Street; thence easterly along said center- line to a line that is parallel with and distant easterly 20 feet from said boundary; thence southerly -1- 4175 ~ . 600 feet along said parallel line; thence due west to a line that is parallel with and distant easterly 15 feet from said boundary; thence southerly alopg last said parallel line to the centerline of Sunset Boulevard; thence due east to a line that is parallel with and distant easterly 17 feet from said boundary; thence southerly along last said parallel line to its intersection with the easterly prolongation of the northerly line of the first alley approximately 200 feet north of Huntington Drive; thence west along said prolongation to said boundary; thence northerly along said boundary to the point of beginning, Parcel 2 - Sunset Boulevard 80 feet wide between the City Boundary at Michillinda Avenue and the centerline of Balboa Drive.
