RESOLUTION NO. 4628
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARCADIA CERTIFYING REVIEW AND CONSIDERA-
TION OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR, AND AP-
PROVING AND CONSENTING TO, ANNEXATION NO. 46
(3905 THROUGH 3951 EAST HUNTINGTON DRIVE)
UNINHABITED, TO THE CITY OF ARCADIA
WHEREAS, in March and September of 1976, the owners of
all the territory proposed to be annexed and designated hereinafter
as "Annexation No. 46" (3905 through 3951 East Huntington Drive)
Uninhabited, have petitioned for annexation to the City of Arcadia;
and'
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County
of Los Angeles, California, did, on May 25, 1977, in sessions duly
assembled, find that the proposed Annexation No. 46 will not have a
stgnificant effect on the environment, approve a negative declara-
tion for the same, approve the proposed annexation boundaries of
Annexation No. 46 as described herein and did authorize the City
Council of the City of Arcadia to annex such territory without
notice and hearing by said legislative body and without an election,
all in accordance with Section 54797.1 of the Government Code of the
State of California; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES
RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Arcadia
hereby certifies that it has reviewed and considered the negative
declaration for Annexation No. 46 issued by the Local Agency Forma-
tion Commission of Los Angeles County.
SEC~?ION 2. That the territory of Annexation No. 46, herein
described, was uninhabited at the time of adoption of this Resolution
and is contiguous to the City of Arcadia; and written consent to
annexation has been filed with the City of Arcadia by the owners of
all the land in the territory of said annexation; that said annexa-
tion is not subject to taxes for any bonded indebtedness or contrac-

tual obligation.

SECTION 3. That the City Council of the City of Arcadia
does hereby approve the annexation of territory described in
Exhibit "A" prepared by the Acting County Engineer of the County
of Los Angeles, which is attached hereto, and by this reference in-
corporated herein and does hereby further resolve that the said
territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Arcadia under the
annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 comprising Govern-
ment Code Sections 35300, et seq.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed
to make under the seal of the City of Arcadia and to transmit a
certified copy of this resolution and all other documents and fees
to the Local Agency Formation Commission of Los Angeles County
necessary for said Commission to make the necessary filings required
bylaw to make such annexation effective; and the City Clerk is
authorized to make any other filings deemed necessary except those
made by the Local Agency Formation Commission required by law.
SECTION 5. The city Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution and cause the same to be published as
required by law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia
held on the 21st day of June, 1977, by the affirmative vote of at
least three Council members, to wit:

"ANNEXATION NO. 46" TO THE CI'l'Y OF ARCADIA
(Revised Description)
Beginning at the northwest~rly corner of Tract No. 29166
as shown on map filed in Book 724, pages 62 to 67 inclusive
of Maps, in the office of the Recorder of the County of
Los Angeles, said corner being an angle point in the boundary
of the City of Arcadia as same existed on October 1, 1976;
thence northerly along the northerly prolongation of the
westerly line of said tract to a line parallel with and 20 feet
northerly, measured at right angles, from the northerly line
of the northerly roadway of Huntington Drive, 44 feet wide,
as shown on map of Michillinda filed in Book 21, pages 14 and l5
of said Maps; thence westerly along said parallel line to the
beginning of a curve concave to the northeast, having a radius
of 17 fee~ tangent to said parallel line and tangent to the
westerly line of Lot 5 in Block A of said Michillinda; thence
northwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 90000'00"
a distance of 26,7 feet to said last mentioned westerly line;
thence northerly along said last mentioned westerly line to the
most southerly line of Lot "Q" in Block A of said Michillinda;
thence easterly along said most southerly line and its easterly
prolongation to the easterly line of Michillinda Avenue, 50 feet
wide, as shown on map of Tract No. 14846 filed in Book 314,
pages 8 and 9 of said Maps; thence southerly and westerly along
