A RESOLUTION OF THE' CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF
A POFlTION OF INDIANA STREET AT WHEELER AVENUE SUB-,
JECT TO THE RESERVATION OF CERTAIN RIGHTS-OF-WAY
AND EASEMENTS, APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION,
AND FINDING THAT SUCH VACATION AND ABANDONMENT
WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY FIND, DETER-
MINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1., That on recommendation of the Department of Public

Works of the City of Arcadia, Resolution No. 4782 was adopted declar-
ing the intention of the Arcadia City Council to vacate and abandon a
portion of Indiana Street at Wheeler Avenue, in the City of Arcadia,
County of ,Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly described
in Exhibi t "B" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof,
SUbject to the reservation and exception of certain easements and rights-
of-way described therein.
A 'public hearing was duly held on November 21, 1978, on posted
,'notice and publication of said Resolution No. 4782, at the hour of
7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of Arcadia City Hall, 240 West Hunt-
ington Drive, Arcadia, Califorhia, for' the purpose .of hearing all per-
sons ,interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment
of the above described portion'of street subject to aforeqescribed re-
servatioris and exceptions. At said public hearing, the City Council
accepted and received all testimony offered in support of, or in objec-
tion to, said proposed vacation.
Section 2. That the City Council hereby approves the negative
declaration for aforesaid vacation and' abandonment, reservations and
exceptions, and,finds that they will not have a significant effect on
the environment.
Section 3. That the City Council finds from all the evidence
submitted that the said portion of street hereinabove described,'ind
so included in the description in the resolution of intention to vacate
and abandon said street,' is unnecessary for present or prospective
street purposes, and therefore, it is ordered that the above-described
portion of street be vacated.

Section 4. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 5079 of the
Public Resources Code of the State 'of Californj,a, this Council does
hereby find and determine that neither hereinabove-described por-
tion of said street nor parts thereof are useful as bicycle paths
or routes.

Section 1. That on recommendation of the Department of Public

ing the intention of the Arcadia City Council to vacate and abandon a
portion of Indiana Street at Wheeler Avenue, in the City of Arcadia,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly described

subject to the reservation and exception of certain easements and rights-
of-way described therein.
A public hearing was duly held on November 21, 1978, on posted
notice and publication of said Resolution No. 4782, at the hour of
7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of Arcadia City Hall, 240 West Hunt-
ington Drive, Arcadia, California, for the purpose of hearing all per-
sons interested in or Objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment
of the above described portion of street subject to aforedescribed re-
servations and exceptions. At said public hearing, the City Council
accepted and received all testimony offered in support of, or in objec-
tion to, said proposed vacation.
Section 2. That the City Council hereby approves the negative
declaration for aforesaid vacation and abandonment, reservations and
exceptions, and finds that they will not have a significant effect on
the environment.

Section 3. That the City Council finds from all the evidence
