HomeMy WebLinkAbout4841 RESOLUTION NO. 4841 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA TRANSFERRING AND APPROPRIATING VARIOUS AMOUNTS IN THE ADJUSTED ANNUAL BUDGET FOR 1978- 1979 FOR THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, FIND AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That during the fiscal 1978-1979 the City Manager has certified that there are available for appropriation revenues in excess of those estimated in the 1978-1979 budget and therefore in the adjusted Annual Budget 1978-1979 for the City of Arcadia California: A. $45,000 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund and transferred to the Equipment Replacement Fund and is hereby appro- priated for replacement of Water Division equipment; and B. A Garage Revolving Fund is hereby established for the pur- pose of charging all city departments, including but not limited to the Water Division, for labor, material and supply costs for repair and maintenance by the City garage of all motorized equipment and that $50,000 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund and transferred to the Garage Revolving Fund; and C. That the following amounts currently in the funds specified are hereby appropriated for the purposes specified: Self-funded Insurance Fund Aggregate for Liability Insurance Liability for Worker's Compo Claims 400,000 120,000 Cash Basis Fund Reserve for Dry Period Financing 243,700 Sewer System Service Fund Reserve for future Sewer Service Projects and Maintenance 119,000 SECTION 2. That during the fiscal year 1978-1979 the City Manager has requested the City Council to transfer unencumbered -1- 4841 appropriation balances in the adjusted Annual Budget 1978-1979 for the City of Arcadia, California as follows: A. $77,000 is hereby appropriated from the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund and transferred to the Water System Fund and is hereby appropriated for the capital improvement of recoating Orange Grove Reservoirs Nos. 3 and 4; and B. That the following amounts are hereby transferred and re- appropriated within the funds specified for the purposes specified: Capital Projects Fund Underground utilities Street Sweeper Bikeway Development Intersection & Street Lighting Rework Park Improvements Parks & Recreation Facilities Fund Park Improvements State Gas Tax Fund Village Street Lighting Baldwin Avenue Phase II Live Oak Improvements Santa Clara Improvement Improve Wilderness Park Road 1978-1979 Slurry Seal 1978-1979 Concrete Gutter & Street Resurfacing 50,000 42,000 8,000 20,000 60,000 15,000 52,200 41,142 34,500 125,000 1,400 70,000 50,000 SECTION 3. That the appropriations of the amounts specified in the adjusted Annual Budget for 1978-1979 for the purposes specified therein are hereby ratified and reaffirmed except to the extent such appropriations are otherwise modified by this resolution or by trans- fers made by the City Manager during fiscal year 1978-1979. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. -2- 4841 '.
