HomeMy WebLinkAbout4953 RESOLUTION NO. 4953 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 4807 IN PART AND APPROVING THE MARCH 17, 1981 MODIFICATION OF RESIDENTIAL REFUSE AGREEMENT WITH BEST DISPOSAL COMPANY AND ESTABLISHING THE RESIDENTIAL REFUSE RATES. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That we hereby Residential Refuse Agreement with 1981, and authorize the Mayor and SECTION 2. That Sections 2, OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, approve that certain modification of Best Dispo~a1 Company dated March City Clerk to execute the same. 17, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Resolution No. 4807 are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. That pursuant to Arcadia Municipal Code 5120.7 we hereby adopt the residential refuse rates set forth in Exhibit "A" which is by this reference incorporated herein for the City of Arcadia. SECTION 4. Other than as specified herein, Resolution No. 4807 is hereby reaffirmed and readopted and specifically Sections 1, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 are by this reference incorporated herein. SECTION 5. That the Clerk of the Council shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. The uniform monthly rates for the collection, hauling and disposal of residential refuse in the City of Arcadia are as follows: 1. SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS. For the regularly scheduled pickup once a week from curb or alley of residential refuse in unlimited quantities, including but not limited to all large objects such as couches, refri- gerators, rugs, water heaters, washing machines and other such large items: March 1981 $4.20 March 1982 $4.60 March 1983 $5.05 2. SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS CONTAINER SERVICE. SPECIAL CONTAINER SERVICE. For the one-time delivery and pickup of a container for the mechani- cal loading of refuse, and for the special pickup of a container , for the mechanical loading of refuse other than the regularly scheduled pickup: March 1981 $23.85 $27.40 $31. 50 March 1982 March 1983 10. 40 CUBIC YARD CONTAINERS. Contractor shall furnish 40 cubic yard containers at the City Yard (35 South Fifth Avenue) and shall pickup and remove the contents of said containers when requested by the City. City \ -4- 8; '.
