RESOLUTION NO. 5767
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA,
SETTING SERVICE RATES FOR THE MULTIPLE FAMILY
RECYCLING PROGRAM WITHIN THE CITY OF ARCADIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY
DETERMINE, FIND AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Article V, Chapter 1, Part 2 of the Arcadia Municipal Code (Section
5120.7.1) authorizes the Arcadia City Council to fix and determine the uniform rates that may
be charged for the collecting, or removing of garbage or refuse from any premises in the City.
SECTION 2. That Section F of the Residential Refuse Agreement authorizes the Arcadia
City Council to fix and determine uniform rates that shall be charged by the Contractor for the
collection, removal and disposal of residential refuse.
SECTION 3. That the contractor shall not charge or collect any fees or rates for the
multiple-family recycling program other than the fees and rates set forth in this Resolution and
that the fees and rates shall remain in effect, unless changed by a Resolution of the City Council
of the City of Arcadia pursuant to the terms of the Amendment to the Residential Refuse
Agreement.
SECTION 4. That the fees for the multiple family recycling program shall be:

(2-6 units)
Three-crate curbside system
$1.00/unit
Medium Complexes
(7-44 units)
Two 90-gallon containers
$1.50/unit
Large Complexes
(45 units +)
One 3 yard bin
$1.50/unit
Backyard Pickup
$1.00Iunit
SECTION 5. That effective July I, 1994, the monthly rates and fees for the collection
of recyclable materials from multiple family properties shall become effective.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
