A RESOLUTION OF THE CI1Y COUNCIL OF THE CI1Y OF
ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF
THE TRANSPORTATION DEVEWPMENT ACT CLAIM
FORM TO RECEIVE FUNDS FOR THE OPERATIONS OF
THE CI1Y OF ARCADIA DIAL-A-RIDE FOR FISCAL YEAR
1993-1994
WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act of 1971, Chapter 1400, Statutes
1971 (SB 325), and amendments thereto, makes certain funds available for public
transportation systems; and
WHEREAS, the Arcadia City Council has adopted a budget for the City of Arcadia
Dial-A-Ride for the 1993-94 Fiscal Year evidencing the need for financial assistance; and
WHEREAS, the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) has been
charged in the Act with the responsibility for the general administration of local
transportation funds through this Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager of the City of Arcadia is hereby authorized
to file a claim with the Southern California Association of Governments for local
transportation funds in an amount to be determined by SCAG based on preliminary
estimates of funds available.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
Passed, approved and adopted this 1st day of February, 1994.

I, JUNE D. ALFORD, City Clerk of the City of Arcadia, hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution No. 5769 was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Arcadia, signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 1st day of February, 1994 and that said Resolution was adopted
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Counci1member Fasching, Harbicht, Lojeski, Margett and
Ciraulo
