RESOLUTION NO. 5833
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF
THE TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT CLAIM
FORM TO RECEIVE FUNDS FOR THE OPERATIONS OF
ARCADIA TRANSIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994-95
WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act of 1971, Chaper 1400, Statutes
1971 (SB 325), and amendments thereto, makes certain funds available for pubic
transportation systems; and
WHEREAS, the Arcadia City Council has adopted a budget for Arcadia Transit
for the 1994-95 Fiscal Year evidencing the need for financial assistance; and
WHEREAS, The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) has
been charged in the Act with the responsibility for the general administration of local
transportation funds through this Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager of the City of Arcadia is hereby authorized
to file a claim with the Southern California Association of Governments for local
transporation funds in an amount to be determined by SCAG based on preliminary
estimates of funds available.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.

said Council held on the 17th day of January, 1995 and that said
Resolution was adopted by the following vote, to wit:
