RESOLUTION NO. 5448
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING
AN AUTHORIZED AGENT,TO THE STATE DISASTER
ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That George J. Watts, City Manager, is hereby
authorized to execute for and in behalf of the City of Arcadia,
a public entity established under the laws of the State of
California, this application and to file it in the Office of
Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining certain state
financial assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance Act.
SECTION 2. That the City of Arcadia, a public entity
established under the laws of the State of California, hereby
authorizes its agent to provide to the State Office of Emergency
Services for all matters pertaining to such state disaster
assistance the assurances and agreements required.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.

this 4th day of October, 1988.

certify that the foregoiDg Resolution No. 5448 was passed and

Council held on the 4th day of October, 1988 and that said Resolution
was adopted by the following vote, to wit:
