HomeMy WebLinkAbout4328 RESOLUTION NO. 4328 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA CONSENTING TO ESTABLISH- MENT OF PORTIONS OF LAS TUNAS DRIVE AND LIVE OAK AVENUE WITHIN SAID CITY AS A PART OF THE SYSTEM OF COUNTY HIGHWAYS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES. WHEREAS, The Board of Supervisors did on January 30, 1973, duly adopt a resolution declaring Las Tunas Drive between the westerly boundary of the City of San Gabriel and 400 feet west of Santa Anita Avenue and Live Oak Avenue between 400 feet west of Santa Anita Avenue and Arrow Highway as a part of the System of Highways of the County of Los Angeles, as provided in Sections 1700 to 1704, inclusive, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, said Board of Supervisors by said resolution requested this Council to give its consent to modify and inter- connect traffic control signals and do appurtenant work within said portions described above; and WHEREAS, a report of the impact of the proposed improvements on the environment has now been completed; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Consent to Inclusion in County Highway System. This City Council does hereby consent to the establishment of Las Tunas Drive between westerly boundary of City of San Gabriel and 400 feet west of Santa Anita Avenue and Live Oak Avenue between 400 feet west of Santa Anita Avenue and Arrow Highway, lying in the City of Arcadia, as part of the System of Highways of the County of Los Angeles as provided in Sections l700 to 1704, inclusive, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. Said consent is for the pur.pose of mo~ification ~nd interconnection of traffic -1- 4328 control signals and performance of appurtenant work by the County of Los Angeles. SECTION 2. Approval of Exemption Declaration. This City Council does hereby approve the Exemption Declaration dated February 26, 1973. SECTION 3. Effect on Environment. This City Council does hereby find that: The project has no significant effect on the,environment. SECTION 4. Finding of a Minor Nature. This City Council does hereby find that pursuant to Government Code, Section 65402(b), the aforesaid improvement is for street improvements of a minor nature and that, therefore, the provisions of said Section requiring the submissiori'to and report upon said project by the City Planning Agency do not apply. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
