RESOLUTION NO. 5695
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN FIRE DEPARTMENT RECORDS
WHEREAS, California Government Code section 34090 authorizes
destruction of certain records upon the written consent of the City
Attorney, with approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Chief of the City of Arcadia has requested
destruction of the following City Records:
(a) Fire & Rescue Incident Reports 1975 through 1982
(b) Fire Investigation Reports 1975 through 1982
(c) Purchase Orders 1975 through 1985
(d) Check Requests 1975 through 1985
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby authorize the
destruction of certain Fire Department records specified above.
SECTION 2. That the city Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.

I, JUNE D. ALFORD, city Clerk of the City of Arcadia, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 5695 was passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Arcadia, signed by the
Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the 22nd day of September, 1992 and that said
Resolution was adopted by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmember Ciraulo, Lojeski, Margett and Fasching
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Harbicht
