RESOLUTION NO. 1633
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA APPROV-
ING PROPOSED SALE OF TAX DEEDED PROPERTY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWSI
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the hereinafter described property has been
tax deeded to the City of Arcadia for delinquent taxes, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector of the City of Arcadia has presented
to this Council her written Notice of Intention to Sell pursuant to
the provisions of Division V, Chapter 6 of Tax Ordinance No. 460 of
the City of Arcadia, that certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Arcadia and described as follows, to wit:
Lot 23 (except of streets) of the F. A. Geier Tract, as per map
recorded in Book 23, page 40 of Maps, except the west 364.58 feet
thereof, in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, state of
California, records in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, and
WHEREAS, this Council finds and determines that said parcel of
real property has heretofore been deeded to the City of Arcadia for
non-payment of taxes, and that it would be to the best ihterests of
the City of Arcadia that said property be sold under the provisions
of Division V, Chapter 6 of Tax Ordinance No. 460, upon the terms
and conditions hereinafter set forth,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
That the proposed sale by the Tax Collector of the City of
Arcadia of that certain real property in the City of Arcadia, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, heretofore tax deeded to the
City of Arcadia, and described as follows, to wit:
Lot 23 (except of streets) of the F. A. Geier Tract, as per map
recorded in Book 23, page 40 of Maps, except the west 364.58 feet
thereof, in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, records in the 6ffice of the County Recorder of said
County, be and the same is hereby approved, upon the following con-
ditions:
(a) That said sale be at public auction to the highest bidder,

for cash.
(b) That the minimum price which the Tax Collector may accept
upon said sale shall be the sum of $100.00.
(c) That said sale shall be held in t he office of t he Tax
Collector in the City Hall, Arcadia, California.
(d) That said sale shall be held at 11 o'clock, A.M. on the
16th day of June, 1947.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to transmit a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Tax Collector.
SECTION '3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held
on the 20th day of May, 1947, by the affirmative vote of at least
three Councilmen, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Leeper, Nugent, Ormsby and Russell
