RESOLUTION NO. 1517
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA FIXING THE TAX
LEVY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR OF 1946-1947.
TH E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWSc
SECTION 1. That there shall be and there is
hereby levied for the fiscal year 1946-1947, upon
each ONE HUNDRED ($100.00) DOLLARS worth of the
assessed valuation of taxable property within the
City of Arcadia (provided, that no property within
any territory heretofore annexed to the City of
Arcadia shall be taxed to pay any portion of the
principal or interest on bonds of the City of Ar-
cadia outstanding on the date of such annexation),
a tax as follows:
For all municipal purposes, exclusive of the
payment of taxes for pUblic library purposes, pay-
ment of principal and ,interest on bonded indebted-
ness of the City, and payment of the obligation of
the City for employees' retirement, under provisions
of the California state Employees' Retirement Act,
the sum of $ .~5"81;
For the purpose of payment of contribution of
the City of Arcadia to State Employees' Retirement
System, the sum of $ .I~o~1 ;
For the purpose of supporting and defraying the

expense of the public library of said City of Arcadia,
the sum of $0.14"0;
For the purpose of paying the principal and inter-
est of IILibrary Bonds 1929, Interest and Sinking Fundll,

For the purpose 'of paying the principal and inter-
est of IIStreet Bonds 1914, Interest and Sinking Fundll,
the sum of $ .0").707;
For the purpose of paying the principal and inter-
est of "Street Bonds 1924, Interest and Sinking Fund",

For the purpose of paying the p~incipal and inter-
est of "Water Bonds 1914, Interest and Sinking Fundll,

For the purpose of paying the principal and inter-
est of "Water Bonds 1919, Interest and Sinking Fund",

For the purpose of paying the principal and inter-
est of "Water Bonds 1927, Interest and Sinking Fundll,

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council

of the City of Arcadia, held on the 3rd day of
September, 1946, by the affirmative vote of at
least three Councilmen, to-wit:
