RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1526
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE OR
MODIFY THE GRADE OF A PORTION OF COLORADO PLACE
IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA, AND SETTING FORTH THE
CHANGE OR MODIFICATION OF GRADE PROPOSED TO BE
MADE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience
require, and it is the intention of the city Council of
the City of Arcadia to order ~e following change or mod-
ification of grade in the following described public street
in the City of Arcadia, to-wit:
That the grade of Colorado Place at its intersection
with that certain drainage channel commonly known as "Arcadia
Wash", be changed or modified as shown on that certain plan
prepared by the City Engineer and approved by the City
Council of the City of Arcadia on October 15th, 1946, which
said plan is on file in the office of the City Engineer of
the City of Arcadia, designated as Plan B-2-58, and which
plan is by reference thereto made a part of this Resolution,
and is available for inspection in the office of the City
Engineer of said City.
SECTION 2. All of the proceedings of the aforesaid
change or modification of grade in said street shall be had
and taken under and in accordance with the provisions of an
Act of t he Legislature of the State of California, known
and designated as the Change of Grade Act of 1909, being
Division 9, Part 1, Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk of said City of Arcadis is _

hereby directed to post conspicuously for two days on or
near the Council Chamber door of said City Council, in
the manner and form required by law, a true copy of this
Resolution; the Arcadia Tribune and News, a weekly news~
paper of general circulation, published and circulated in
said City of Arcadia, is hereby designated as the news-
paper in which the Resolution of Intention shall be pub-
lished, ,in the manner and form as required by law. The.
City Clerk is hereby directed to publish twice in said
newspaper designated as aforesaid, this Resolution of
Intention.
SECTION 4. The street Superintendent shall post, or
cause to be posted conspicuously along each of said streets
or portions thereof where such change or modification of
grades is proposed to be made, as provided in this Resolution
of Intention, at not more than One Hundred (lOO)feet in dis-
tance apart, notices, but not less than three (3) in all,
of the passage of this Resolution of Intention, in the manner
and form required by law. The street Superintendent shall
also cause a notice similar in substance to be published by
two insertions in the Arcadia Tribune and News, designated
published and circulated as aforesaid.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia,

IN TEE CITY OF ARCADIA, AND SETTING FORTH THE CHANGE OR MODIFICATION OF
GRADE PROPOSED TO BE I'lADE.

W.C.Billig, being first duly sworn, says: That he is now and was
at all the times herein mentioned, the duly elected, qualified and acting
City Clerk of the City of Arcadia,in the aforesaid County and State; that
affiant posted conspicuously for two days or more on the Bulletin Board
near the Council Chamber door of the City Council of said City of Arcadia,
Resolution of Tntention No. 1526, a printed copy of which Resolution is
hereunto annexed and made a part hereof; that said Resolution was posted
for the first time as aforesaid on the 28th day of October, 1946, and
was kept so posted continuously thereafter up to and including the 31st
day of October, 1946.
