A RESOLUT ION OF THE CITY COUNC IL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE SET- BACK LINES ON A PORTION OF BALDWIN AVENUE, A Pu~LIC STREET IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That. an application has heretofore been filed with the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia, requesting a change in the herinafter described set back lines, and that said Planning Commission has made recom- mendation to the City Council of the City of Arcadia that the said set back lines be changed in accordance with said apDlication and as described in this resolution. SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, to change set back lines on the following described portions of Baldwin Avenue and re-establish said setback lines as follows: Setback line along the West side of Baldwin Avenue, distant twenty (20') feet westerly from and parallel with the westerly boundary line of said Baldwin Avenue, between, and extending from, a line parallel with and distant one hundred seventy (l70') feet north (measured at right angles) from the northerly line of Fairview Avenue, and the northerly line of the abandoned Southern Pacific Railroad right of way. SECTION ~. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday the 3rd day of December, 1946, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, in the Council Chamber of said City Council, in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia, any and all persons having objections to said proposed setback lines may appear before said City Council and show cause why said proposed setback lines should not be changed in accordance with this Resolution. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of streets shall post l~o!;Jl'"-;) or cause to be posted along the portions of said street along which it is proposed to change and re-establish said setback lines, at not more than three hundred (300') feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. SECTION 5'. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and shall cause the same ~o be published once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of g~neral circulation, published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby designated for that pur- pose.
