RESOLUTION NO. 1536
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA ORDERING CHANGE OR KODIFICATION OF GRADE IN
PORTIONS OF COLORADO PLACE IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. WHEREAS, the City Council, on the 15'th
day of October, 1946, adopted a Resolution of Intention
No. 1526, declaring its intention to change or modify the
grade in portions of Colorado Place in the City of Arcadia,
under the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the
State of California, known and designated as the Change
of Grade Act of 1909, being Division 9, Part 1 of The
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and
V~illREAS, the time of filing protests
against said change of grade has expired, and
VlliEREAS, the time for hearing said protests
was heretofore set for November 19, 1946 at eight o'clock
P.M. in The Council Chamber of the City Hall of said city,
and
1VHEREAS, no protests were filed against
such change or modification of grade,
NOW, TfffiREFORE, be it resolved as follows:
That the grade of Colorado Place at its
intersection with that certain drainage channel commonly
known and referred to as "Arcadia Wash" be changed or
modified as shown on that certain plan prepared by the
City Engineer and approved by the City Council on October
l5, 1946, which said plan is on file in the office of the
said City Engineer designated as Plan B-2-58, and which
plan is by reference thereto made a part of this Resolution
and is available for inspection in the office of The City
Engineer of said City.
SECTION 2. The Arcadia Tribune and News, a weekly
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated
INDEXED
in said City of Arcadia, is hereby designated as the
newspaper in which this Resolution shall be published,
in the manner and form as reouired by Law. The City
Clerk is hereby directed to Dublish once in said
newsDaper designated as aforesaid, this Resolution.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Arcadia, held on the 19th day of
November, 1946, by the affirmative vote of at least
three Councilmen, to-wit:

ABSENT: None
