HomeMy WebLinkAbout1555 RESOLTITION OF INTENTION NO. 15'5'5' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE SET- BACK LINES ON A PORTION OF WALNUT AVENUE, A PUBLIC STREET IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That an application has heretofore been filed with the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia, requesting a change in the hereinafter described set back lines, and that said Planning Commission has made recom- mendation to the City Council of the City of Arcadia that the said set back lines be changed in accordance with said application and as described in this resolution. SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to change set back lines on the following described portions of Walnut Avenue, a pubiliic street in said City of Arcadia, and re-establish said set back lines as follows: Upon the east 55 feet of Lot 1, Tract No. 9282, as shown on map recorded in Book 125', page 6 of maps, records of Los Angeles County, the set-back lines shall be changed from forty (40) feet and re-established at thirty (30) feet. SECTION 3. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday the ~tli day of February, 1947, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, in the Council Chamber of said City Council, in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia, any and all -persons having objections to said proposed setback lines may appear before said City Council and show cause why said proposed setback lines should not be changed in accordance with this Resolution. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post , or cause to be posted along the portions of said street along which it is proposed to change and re-establish said setback lines, at not more than three hundred (300') feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. SECTION 5'. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby designated for that purpose.
