RESOLUTION NO. 15'65'
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING CERTAIN GRANT DEED COVERING REAL PROPERTY
TO THE CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Arcadia accept from Oscar O.
Diehl and Edith M. Diehl, husband and wife, that certain Grant
Deed dated January 14, 1947, conveying to the City of Arcadia,
State of California, to wit:
A portion of Santa Anita Rancho, as recorded in Book 1,
Page 97 of Patents, records of said County, described
as follows:
That portion of the 40 foot strip of land marked "Right
of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad" on map of
Tract No. 2731, recorded in Book 33, Page 29 of Maps,
records of said County, which is bounded on the West by
the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of lot
24 of said Tract No. 2731, and bounded on the East by
the Northerly prolongation of the center line of Baldwin
Avenue, 60 feet wide, adjoining said lot 24 on the East,
for street and highway purposes, to be known as Baldwin
Avenue.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia
held on the 21st day of Uanuary, 1947, by the affirmative vote
of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
