HomeMy WebLinkAbout1590 RESOLUTION NO. 1590 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEJUENT COVERING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARClillIA DOES RESOLVE AS FO LLOWS : SECTION 1. That the City of Arcadia accept from Charles E. Durnell and Julia S. Durnell, husband and wife, Grant Deed dated January 22, 1947, conveying to the City of Arcadia an easement for the purpose of, and with the full right and authority of, excavating, laying, operating, repairing and maintaining a pipe line for sanitary sewage disposal purposes, together with necessary manholes and appurtenances; and for the purpose of excavating, laying, operating, repairing and main- taining a pipe line for water distribution purposes, including the installation of water meters and necessary appurtenances, over that certain parcel of land situated in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, and described as follows: A part of lots 5 and 6, Tract No. 949, as shown on map recorded in Book 17, page 13 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, des- cribed as follows: Beginning at a point in the East line of lot 6, as shown on County Surveyor's map No. B-IIIJ sheet 4, distant North 20 58' 25" East thereon 16j2.25 feet from the North line of Huntington Drive; thence North 20 58' 25" East 196.47 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve shown on said County Surveyor's map, said curve being concave to the East and having a radius of 1000 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve 419.63 feet; thence North 710 13' 20" West 40.39 feet; thence Southwesterly along a curve concave to the East and having a radius of 1040 feet for a distance of 430.62 feet; thence South 20 58' 25" West 196.47 feet; thence South 870 01' 35" East 40 feet to beginning. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
