RESOLUTION NO. 1412.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
REQ.UESTING FROM THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY CERTAIN
GASOLINE TAX FUNDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF HOLLY AVENUE
IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOIVS:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, this Council deems it necessary that
that portion of Holly Avenue from Palm Drive to Las Tunas Drive be .
improved with oil macadam pavement and resurfacing, and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has available for use
by the City of Arcadia certain gasoline tax funds for the improvement
of highw~ys of secondary importance, and
WHEREAS, Holly Avenue in the City of Arcadia is a high-
way of secondary importance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Super-
visors of Los Angeles County appropriate from said gasoline tax funds
the sum of Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of improv-
ing a portion of Holly Avenue between Palm Drive and Las Tunas Drive
with oil macadam pavement and resurfaCing.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall cer~ify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held
on the 21st day of August, 1945, by the affirmative vote of at least
three Councilmen, to wit:
AYES: CounCilmen, Adcock, Leeper, Nugent, Ormsby and Russell
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
