SECTlmr 1.
That the Planning Commission of the City of
Arcadia has recow~ended to the City Council of the City of Arcadia
that the setback line be changed on a portion of Third Avenue, a
public street in the City of Arcadia, hereinafter described in this
Resolution.
SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require
and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of P~cadia to
change the setback line on a portion of Third Avenue in the City of
Arcadia and reestablish said setback line as folIous:

A setback line distant tuenty five (25) feet easterly
from and parallel uith the easterly boundary line of Third Avenue,
from the so~therly property line of Genoa street to the northerly
property line of Duarte Road, public streets in the City of Arcadia.
SECTION 3. Notice is hereby 3iven that on Wednesday,
January 2, 1946, at 8:00 olclock, P.).!. in the Council Chamber of the
City Council of the City of Arcadia, in the Cit~ Hall of said City,
any and all persons having any objection to the proposed setback line
may appear before said City Council and show cause uhy said setback
line should not be established in accordance uith this Resolution.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause
to be posted along the portion of said street along which it is proposed
to fix and establish said setback line, at not more than three hundred
(300) feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all,
notices of the passLge of this Reeolution of Intention.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be pUbliGhed once in the
;~cQdin TriJune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby desi~nated

for that purpose.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution of Intention
was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Arcadia, held on the 4th day of Dece~ber, '1945, by the affirmative
vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Leeper, Nugent, Ormsby and Russell
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
