A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DECLARING ITS INTEI~TION TO CHANGE SETBACK LINES ON PORTIONS OF LAS TUNAS DRIVE, BALDWIN AVENUE ANDDUARTE ROAD, ALL BEING PUBLIC STREETS IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLO\'lS: SECTION 1. That the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia has recommended to the City Council of the City of Arcadia that the setback lines be changed on portions of Las Tunas Drive, Baldwin Avcnu~ and Duarte Road, and that the setback line heretofore established be abolished on a portion of Las Tunas Drive and Baldwin Avenue, all being public streets in the City of Arcadia hereinafter described in this Resolution. SECTION 2. That the pUblic interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to change the setback lines on portions of said streets and reestablish said setback lines as follows: (a) A setback line distant ten (10) feet northerly from and parallel to the northerly property line of Las Tunas Drive along and in front of the easterly seventy (70) feet of Lot 22, Tract No. 6641, as recorded in Book 126 Page 67 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County; (b) A setback line distant ten (10) feet easterly from and parallel to the easterly line of Baldwin Avenue along and in front of Lot 21, Tract 6641, as recorded in Book 126 Page 67 of l~aps, in the office of the County Recorder of Los An3eles County; (c) A setback line distant thirty (30) feet southerly from and parallel to the southerly line of Duarte Road from the westerly property line of Holly Avenue, a pUblic street in the City of Arcadia, to a point 190.51 feet westerly therefrom. (d) Abolish the setback lines on Baldwin Avenue and Las Tunas Drive along and in front of all of Lot 22, Tract 6641, except the setback line on Las Tunas Drive along and in front of the easterly seventy (70) feet of said lot. -1- SECTION 3. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the ~day of March, 1946, at 8:00 olclock, P.M. in the Council Chamber of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, in the City Hall of said City, any and all persons having any objection to the proposed setback line may appear before said City Council and show cause why said setback lines should not be changed in accordance with this Resolution. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to be posted along the portions of said streets along which it is proposed to change, fix and establish said setback lines, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby desig- nated for that purpose. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution of Intention was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on thel~th day of February, 1946, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, towit, AYES: Councilmen, Adcock . . , Leeper, ~ugent, Ormsby and Russell NOES: None ABSENT: None ~u~a:.e City Clerk.
