RESOLUTION NO. 1447.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL O? THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DESIGNATING BUS STOPS ON PORTrJ,1S OF VARIOUS PUBLIC STREETS IN
THE CITY OF ARCADIA, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE
NO. 200 OF SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLO:'!S:
SECTION 1. \VHEREAS, Pasadena City Lines, Inc., has heretofore
been granted a franchise by the Railroad Commission of the State of
California, to operate motor coach busses on various public streets
within the City of Arcadia, and
rrHE~~AS, it is necessary for the convenience of the public that
bus stops be designated at various locations on the public streets
upon which busses operate in the City of Arcadia, for the purpose
of loading and unloading passengers,
NOn, T,IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to the prOVisions
of Section 32 of Ordinance No. 200 of the City of Arcadia, entitled
trAn Ordinance of the Board of Trustees of the City of Arcadia

Regulating Traffic upon the public streets and repzaling all
Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict therewith.", adopted
June 15, 1927, this Council does hereby designate the following
locations as bus stops within the City of Arcadia:
(a) On the south side of Colorado Street near the westerly
curb line of Vaquero Road;
(b) On the north side of Colorado Street opposite its inter-
section with Vaquero Road;
(c) On the south side of Colorado Street near the westerly
curb line of Old Ranch Road;
(d) On the north side of Colorado Street opposite its inter-
section with Old Ranch Road;
(e) On the southwesterly side of Colorado Place southerly of
the entrance to the Santa Anita Race Track'

(f) On the northeasterly side of Colorado Place directly
opposite the entrance to the Santa Anita Race Track;
(g) On Colorado Place adjacent to the Boulevard stop at its
junction with Huntington Dirve;

(h) On the northerly side of Huntington Drive at the Santa
Ani ta Theatre;
(i) On both the north and south sides of Huntington Drive
adjacent to the Pacific Electric Railway crossing;
(j) On the south side of Huntington Drive near the Boulevard
stop sign on the west side of Santa Anita Avenue;
(k) On the north side of Huntington Drive near the easterly
curb line of Santa Anita Avenue;
(1) On the easterly side of First Avenue near the northerly
curb line of Huntington Dirve;
(m) On the westerly side of First Avenue near the northerly
curb line of HuntinGton Drive;
(n) On the easterly side of First Avenue northerly of its
intersection with Indiana Street, and southerly of the Santa Fe
Railway crossing;
(0) On the easterly side of First Avenue near the northerly
curb line of st. Joseph Street;
(p) On the westerly side of First Avenue adjacent to the
northerly line of the Santa Fe Railway right-of-way;
(q) On the westerly side of First Avenue near the northerly
curb line of St. Joseph Street;
(r) On the easterly side of First Avenue near the southerly
curb line of Colorado Boulevard;
(s) On the northerly side of Colorado Boulevard, near the
easterly curb line of First Avenue;
(t) On the southerly side of Colorado Boulevard opposite its
intersection with Second Avenue;
(u) On the northerly side of Colorado Boulevard near the
easterly curb line of Second Avenue.
SECTION 2. The curb adjacent to each of said bus stops as
designated herein shall be painted with orange colored paint, not
exceeding fifty (501) feet in length, which said painting shall be
done under the supervision of the Street Superintendent of the
City of Arcadia.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall ceritfy to the adoption of
this Resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia,
held on the 19th day of February, 1946, by the affirmative vote of
at least three Councilmen, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Leeper, Nugent, Ormsby and Russell
