A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE SETBACK LINES ON PORTIONS OF SANTA AluTA AVENUE, A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Planning Comnission of the' City of Arcadia hQS recommended to the City Council of the City of Arcadia that the setback lines be changed on portions of Santa AnitQ Avenue as hereinafter described in this Resolution. SECTION 2. That the public interest and oanvenience require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to change the setback lines on the following described portions of Santa Anita Avenue and reestablish said setback lines as follows: (a) A setback line distant twenty-five (25') feet westerly from and parallel with the westerly property line of Santa Anita Avenue from Haven Avenue to Floral Avenue, both being pUblic streets in the City of Arcadia; (b) A setback line distant twenty-five (25') feet easterly from and parallel with the easterly property line of Santa Anita Avenue along and in front of Lot 2 of Tract No. 3112, as shown on map recorded in Book 29, page 68 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County. SECTION 3. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the 7th day of May, 1946, at 8:00 o'clock, P.M., in the Council CQamber of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, in the City Hall of said City, any and all persons having any objection to the proposed setback line may appear before said City Council and show cause why said setback lines should not be changed in accordance with this Resolution. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to be posted along the portions of said street along which it is proposed to change and reestablish said setback lines, at not more than three hundred (3001) feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. ll'1llll!rJ) -1- SECTION 5. The, Ci ty Clerk shall certify to the adoption 0 f this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby desig- nated for that purpose. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution of Intention was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 19th day of March, 1946, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Leeper, Nugent, Ormsby and Russell NOES: None ABSENT: None /:/);a-t:tU ({f. ~~ C ty Clerk.
