A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF T2E CITY OF ARCADIA DESIGNATING BUS STOPS ON PORTIONS OF VARIOUS PUBLIC STREETS IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 200 OF SAID CITY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLL0\1S: SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Pacific Electric Railway has heretofore been granted a franchise by the Railroad Commission of the state of California, to operate motor coach busses on various public streets / within the City of Arcadia, and VffiEREAS, it is necessary for the convenience of the public that bus stops be designated at various locations on the pUblic streets upon which busses operate in the City of Arcadia, for the purpose of loading and unloading passengers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of Section 32 of Ordinance No. 200 of the City of Arcadia, entitled nAn Ordinance of the Board of Trustees of the City of Arcadia Regulating Traffic upon the public streets and repealing all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict therewith.n, adopted June 15, 1927, this Council does hereby designate the following locations as bus stops within the City of Arcadia: (a) On the Easterly side of Baldwin Avenue from a point 153 feet south of the south curb line of Woodruff Avenue and extending 50 feet south therefrom; (b) On the south side of Duarte Road from a point 30 feet east of the east curb line of Baldwin Avenue and extending 44 feet easterly therefrom; (c) On the west side of Baldwin Avenue from a point 138 feet' south of the south curb line of Duarte Road and extending 30 feet southerly therefrom. SECTION 2. The curb adjacent to each of said bus stops as designated herein shall b~ painted with orange colored paint, which said painting shall be done under the supervision of the Street superintendent of the City of Arcadia. -1- 1.'''):0-. ~ SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 26th day of March, 1946, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Leeper, Nugent and Ormsby NOES: None ABSENT: Councilman Russell ~~~;;~~ Signed and approved this 26thday of March, 1946.
