A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALD'ORnA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE THE SET BACK LINE ON A POHTION OF FIRST AVENUE, A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA. Tllli CITY COm~CIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLQ',7S: SECTION 1. That the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia has recommended to the City Council of the City of Arcadia that the set back line becbanged and reestablished. on. a .portion of-F:l:rsll_Avenue as hereinafter desoribed in this Resolution. SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to change and reestablish the set back line on a portion of First Avenue, a public street in the City of Arcadia, as follows: (a) A set back line distant forty-four (44) feet westerly from and parallel with the center line of First Avenue from California Street to Duarte Road, both being public streets in the City of Arcadia; (b) A set back line distant forty-four (44) feet easterly from and parallel with the center line of First Avenue from California Street to Duarte Road, both being pUblic streets in the City of Arcadia. SECTION 3. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday the 7th day of Way, 1946, at 8:00 o'cloCk, P.M., in the Council Chamber of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, in the City Hall of said City, any and all persons having any objection to the proposed set back line may appear before said City Council and show cause why said set back line should not be changed and reestablished in accordance with this Resolution. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to be posted along the portion of said street along whicb it is proposed to change and reestablish said set back line, at not more than three hundred (300') feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) fn all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. p'fl~.~~I~') -1- SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby desig- nated for that purpose. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution of Intention was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 2nd day of April, 1946, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Leeper, Nugent, Ormsby and Russell NOES: None ABSENT: None ~/r~"-G?/ Ci ty Clerk.
