RESOLUTION NO. 1488
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, FIXING COMPENSATION OF EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY OF
ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORHIA, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. WHEHEAS, this City Council has caused a wage survey
to be made of the compensation of various employees of the City of
Arcadia, and
WHEREAS, this Ci~ Council has considered the findings made
in said survey,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the salaries and
wages of the various employees hereinafter named are hereby fixed,
said salaries to become effective as of July 1, 1946, as follows:

(g) HOURLY LABOR
(1) Compensation for all hourly employment not
otherwise specifically provided for hereinf and except Clerical
help, shall be at the rate of eighty-five ~85~) cents per hour;
(2) Compensation for all Clerical help employed
on an hourly basis shall be at the rate of ninety (90~) cents per
hour_
SECTION 2. The Ci ty C1e rk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Arcadia, California, held on the 16th day of July, 1946, by the
affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Cornyn, Nugent, Ormsby and Husse11
