RESOLUTION NO. 1302.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA APPROVING PROPOSED SALE
OF TAX DEEDED PROPERTY IN SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the hereinafter described property has
been tax deeded to the City of Arcadia for delinquent taxes, and
iVHEREAS, the Tax Collector of the City of Arcadia has pre-
sented to this Council her written Notice of Intention to Sell pursuant
to the provisions of Division V, Chapter 6 of the Tax Ordinance No. 460
of the City of Arcadia and described as follows, to-wit:
Part of lot 9, block 89, Santa Anita Tract,
as per map~recorded in Book 34, Pages 41 and
42, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the North line
of said lot 9 with the West line of Second Avenue,
thence South along the West line of Second Avenue
330 feet; thence West along the South line of said
lot 603.34 feet, thence North parallel with Second
Avenue 330 feet; to the North line of said lot,
thence East thereon 603.34 feet to beginning.
WHEREAS, this Council finds and determines that said parcel
of real property has heretofore been deeded to the City of Arcadia for
non-payment of taxes, and that it would be to the best interest of the
City of Arcadia that said property be sold under the prOVisions of
Division V, Chapter 6 of Tax Ordinance No. 460, upon the terms and con-
ditions hereinafter set forth,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
That the proposed sale by the Tax Collector of the City of
Arcadia of that certain real property in the City of Arcadia, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, heretofore tax deeded to the City of
Arcadia, and described as follows, to-wit:

as per map recorded in Book 34, Pages 41 and
421 Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
described as follows:
Oommencing at the intersection of the North line
of said lot 9 with the West line of Second Avenue,
thence South along the West line of Second Avenue

330 feet; thence West along the South line of said
lot 603.34 feet, thence North parallel .nth Second
Avenue 330 feet; to the North line of said lot,
then East thereon 603.34 feet to beginning.
be and the same is hereby approved upon the following conditions:
(a) That said sale be at public auction to the highest
bidder for cash.
(b) That the minimum price which the Tax Collector may
accept upon said sale shall be the sum of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars.
(c) That said sale shall be held in the office of the Tax
Collector in the City Hall, Arcadia, California.
(d) That said sale shall be held at 11:00 o'clock A.M. onthe
30th day of June, 1944.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to transmit a cert-
this Resolution.
I bereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held
on the 6th. day of June, 1944, by the affirmative vote of at least three
