A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF fu~CADIA APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE CITY ENGINEER OF SAID CITY IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF EL MOIITE AVENUE IN SAID CITY AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND MATURITY OF AND RATE OF INTEREST UPON BONDS TO BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT UNPAID ASSESSM&iTS FOR SAID PROPOSED IMPROYmdENT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the report prepared by the City Engineer pursuant to the provisions of Part 2 of the "Special Assessment, --I /i~ Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931", as amended, in the matter of the proposed improvement on a portion of E1 Monte Avenue in the City of Arcadia, be and the same is hereby approved. SECTION 2. That serial bonds bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per annum and extending over a period ending nine years from the second day of January next succeeding the next October fifteenth following their date, will be issued in the manner provided , " by the Improvement Act of 1911, approved April 7, 19l1. as amended, to represent each assessment of Twenty Five ($25.00) Dollars or more remaining unpaid for thirty days after the date of the warrant attached to the assessment to be hereafter levied under these proceedings. SECTION 3. That the above mentioned report be filed with the Clerk of this Council. That Wednesday. the 8th day of November, 1944, at the hour of eight 0 I clock, P~M., and the Court Room in the Police Stat~on in the City of Arcadia, are hereby fixed as the time and place of heari~g. by this'City Council on said repJrt. The Clerk of this City Council is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing in the manner and form required by Part 3 of said Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, as ronended. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
