HomeMy WebLinkAbout1321 RESOLUTION NO. 1321. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DECLARING CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN SAID CITY TO BE STREETS OF MAJOR DIPORTANCE OTHER THAN STATE HIGHwAYS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the following described Street in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, is hereby declared to be a Street of major importance other than a State Highway, to-wit: ,< Huntington Bouilievard, commonly known as Huntington Drive South, from the westerly city boundary of the City of Arcadia to Santa Anita Avenue. SECTION 2. That the following described portion of Baldwin Avenue, a public street in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, is hereby declared to be a Street of major importance other than a State Highway, to-wit: All that portion of Baldwin Avenue from Huntington Drive to Live Oak Avenue. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and he is hereby authorized and instructed to file a Certified copy of this Resolution in the office of the State Highway Department of the State of California, at its offices in the City of Los Angeles, State of California. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Counci 1 of the City of Arcadia, held on the 3rd day of October, 1944, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to-wit: AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Billig, Leeper, Nugent and Ormsby NOES:< NQn3: '" "'-,'" ..... -~ -...'"
