RESOLUTION NO. 1331.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DESIGNATING PORTIONS
OF CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS IN SAID CITY AS THROUGH HIGFNAYS, AND
DIRECTING THE PLACING AND MAINTAINING OF "STOP SIGNS" ON CERTAIN
STREE['S INTERSECTING ~ITH SAID TF~OUGH HIGF.ifAYS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOt.LOWS:
SECTION 1. That the follo~ing described portions of certain
public streets in the City of Arcadia are hereby designated as through
highways in accordance with the provisions of Section 23 of Ordinance
No. 200 of the City of Arcadia, to-wit:
(a) Huntington Drive at its intersection with Cortez Road.
(b) Colorado Street at its intersection with Monte Vista Road.
SECTION 2. The Chief of Police of said City is authorized and
he is hereby directed to cause to be placed and maintained "Stop Signs"
at the following locations, to-wit:
(a) Upon the westerly side of Cortez Road at or near the
northerly property line of Huntington Drive.
(b) Upon the easterly side of Monte Vista Road at or near the
southerly property line of Colorado Street.
SECTION 3. Each of said signs directed to be placed and
maintained shall conform vdth the requirements of Section 23 of
Ordinance No. 200 of the City of Arcadia, and Section 471 of the Vehicle
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on
the 21st day of November, 1944, by the affirmative vote of at least
three Councilmen, to-wit:
