THE CI'.i'Y COUNCIL OF 'l'flE CI'l'Y OF ARCADIA DOES RESOL\E AS FOLLD',"f8: SECTION l. WHERJAS, the hereinafter described property has been tax deeded to the City of Arcadia for delinquent taxes, and Wi:ErLAS, the Tax Collector of the City of Arcadia has presented to this Council her wri tten Notice 0 l' Intention to Sell,pursuant to the provisions of Division V, Chapter 6 of the Tax Ordinance No. 460 of the City of Arcadia, said property described as follows, to-wit: The Easterly 50 feet of the westerly 505 feet of the Southerly 70 feet of Lot 61, Santa Anita Colony as shown on map recorded in Book 42, Page 87, ~iscellaneous Records of Los An.::;ele s County. WHEHEAS, this Council finds and determines that said parcel of real property :Jas hGretofore been deeded to the City of Arcadia for non- payment of taxes, and that it would be to the best interest of the City of Arcadia that said property be sold under the provisions of Division V, Chapter 6 of Tax Ordinance No. 460, upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, NOV[, 'l'l-illREROHE, TIill CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CIT'i OF .lIRCADIA DOE8 HEREBY, RESOLVE AND DE'I'ERdNE AS FOLLOVlS: That the proposed sale by the Tax Collector of the City of Arcadia of that certain real property in the City of Arcadia, COlli1ty of Los AnGeles, State of California, heretofore tax deeded to the Ci ty of Arcadia, and desGribed as folloVls, to-wit: The Easterly 50 feet of the Westerly 505 feet of the Sout~orly 70 feet of Lot 61, Santa Anita Colony as shovm on maps recorded in Book 42, page 87, Miscellaneous Records of Los N1c;eles COTh~ty, be and the same is hereby approved upon the followinG conditions: (a) That said sale be at public auction to the hiGhest bidder for c8sh. (1;i) That the minimu.'Tl price which the Tax Collector f;lay accept upon said sale shall be the sum of Thirty Five ($35.00) Dollars. -1- (c) That said s~le shall be held in the office of the Tax Collector in the City Hall, Arcadia, California. (d) That said sale shall be held at ll:OO o'clock, A.i,i. on the 15th day of January, 1945. SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to the Tax Collector. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
