RESOLUTION NO. 1391.
A R3S0LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF Tflli CITY OF ARCADIA DECLARiNG
ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE THE SETBACK LINE ON A PORTION OF SIERRA I!ADRE
BOULEVARD, A PUBLIC STREET IN TIlE CITY OF ARCADIA.
TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLO',:S:
SECTION 1. That the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia
has recolnmended to the City Council of the City of Arcadia that the
setback line be changed on a portion of Sierra Madre Boulevard, a public
street in the City of Arcadia, hereinafter described in this RGsolution.
SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require and
it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to
change the setback line upon a portion of Sierra j,ladre BOtclevard in
the City of Arcadia, as follows:
A setback line distant twenty-five (25') feet southerly from and
parallel with the southerly boundary line of Sierra Madre Boulevard
along and in front of Lots 24, 25, 26, 55, 56 and 57 of Tract No.
7473, as per map recorded in Book 93, at Page 51 of Maps, in the office
of the Recorder of Los Angeles County.
SECTION 3.
Notice is hereby given that on the 7th dEW of Au~ust,
1945, at 8 o'clock P.liI. of said day in the Council Chamber in the Court
Room of the Police Station of the City of Arcadia, any ~~d all persons
having any objection to the proposed setback line may appear before
said City Council and show cause why said setback line should not be
established in afcordance with this Resolution.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post aT cause to
be posted along the portion of said street along which it is proposed
to fix and establish said setback line, at not more than three hundred
(300') feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all,
notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution, and shall cause the S8me to be published once in the Arcadia
Tribune a!ld Arcadia News, a nevlSpaper of general circulation, published

and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby desiGnated for
that purpose.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution of Intention
was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council 0 f the City of
Arcadia, held on the 3rd day of July, 1945, by the affirmative vote of
at least three Councilmen, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Leeper, Nugent, Ormsby and Russell

ABSENT: None
