HomeMy WebLinkAbout1250 . ~ RESOLUTION NO. l250. RESOLUTION of THE CITY OF ARCADIA APPROVING PROPOSED SALE OF' TAX DEEDED PROPERTY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOnS: SECTION l. ~v.HEREAS, the hereinafter described property has been tax deeded to the City of Arcadia for delinquent taxes, and \mERLAS, the Tax Collector of the City of Arcadia has pre- sented to this Council her written Notice of Intention to Sell pur- suant to the provisions of Division V, Chapter 6 of the Tax Ordinance No. 460 of the City of Arcadia and described as follows, to-wit: East 25 feet of Lot 4, Block 81, a part of Arcadia Santa Anita Tract, as per map recorded in Book l5, pages 89-90, IJiscellaneous Records of said Los Anseles County, ~est 25 feet of Lot 4, Block 81, a part of Arcadia Santa Anita Tract, as per map recorded in Book 15, pages 89-90, ~iscellaneous Records of said Los Angeles County, WHEREAS, this Council finds and determines that said parcel of real property has heretofore been deeded to the City of Arcadia for non-payment of taxes, and that it would be to the best interests of the City of Arcadia that said property be sold under the provisions of Division V, Chapter 6 of Tax Ordinance No. 460, upon the terms and conditions hereir-after set forth, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOJ:o:S HEREBY RESOLVE AKD DETERlHNE AS FOLLO'.iS: ~hat the proposed sale by the Tax Collector of the City of Arcadia of that certain real property in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, heretofore tax deeded to the City of Arcadia, and described as follows, to-wit: East 25 feet of Lot 4, Block 81, a part of Arcadia Santa Anita Tract, as per map recorded in Book 15, pages 89-90, Miscellaneous Records of said Los AnGeles County, West 25 fest of Lot 4, Block 81, a part of Arcadia Santa Anita Tract, as per map recorded in Book 15, pages 89-90, Miscellaneous Records of said Los Angeles County, be and the same is hereby approved upon the follOWinG conditions: -1- .. (a) That said sale be atpublic auction to the highest bidder for cash. (b) That the minimum price which the Tax Collector may accept upon said sale shall be the sum of $ . (c) That said sale shall be held in the office of the Tax Collector in the City Hall, Arcadia, California. (d) That said sale shall be held at 11 o'clock, A.Ill. on the 14th day of July, 1943. SECTION 2. The Ci ty Clerk is directed to transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to the Tax Collector. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. I hereby certify that the foregoinG Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 15th day of June, 1943, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to-wit: AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Jones, Leeper, Nugent and Ormsby NOES: llone ABSENT: None ~~d~ ,,/ i ty Clerk.
