RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1104.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE THE SET BACK LINE ON A PORTION
OF DUARTE ROAD, A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOliS:
SECTION 1. That the Planning Commission, of the 'City of
Arcadia has recommended to the City Council of the City of Arcadia
that the setback line be changed upon the portion of Duarte Road
hereinafter described in th~s Resolution.
SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require
and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to
change the setback line upon said portion of Duarte Road ih the City
of Arcadia, as follows:
A setback line distant thirty (30) feet northerly from
and parallel to the northerly boundary line of Duarte Road, between
Second Avenue and Third Avenue.
SECTION 3. Notice' is hereby given that on the 18th day of
March, 1941, at 8:00 o'clock, P.M. of said day, in the Council Chamber
of said City Council in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia, any and
all parsons having any objections to said proposed setback line may
appear before said City Council and show cause why said proposed set-
back line should not be established in accordance with this Resolution,
SECTION 4. . The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to
be posted along the portion of said street along which it.is proposed
to fix and establish said setback line, at not more than three hundred
(300") feet in distance apart, but not less than (3) three in all,
notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once
in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general
circulation, published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and

was adopted at a regular meeting of the Ci~y Co~cil.of the City of
Arc~dia, held on the 18thday of February
vote of at least three Councilmen, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Solz, Leeper and Perkins. '
