RESOL~TION NO. 1006.
A R::;SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCTL OF THZ CITY OF ARC:,DIA
D~SIGNATING A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN SAID CITY AS A BOULEVARD,
AND DIRECTING THE PLACING AIID !.IAINTAINING OF "STOP SIGNSlI ON A
CERTAIN STREET IN~rr:RSECTING ','!ITH SAID BOULEVARD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLO'iIS:
SECTION 1. That Second Avenue at its intersection with
Lonsden Avenue in the City of Arcadia,be and the same is hereby
designated as a Boulevard in accordance with the provisions of
Section 23 of Ord:Lnance No. 200 of the City of Arcadia. That the
Chief of police of said City be authorized, and he is hereby directed
to cause to be pl,aced and maintained "Stop Signsll at the following
locations upon sa:Ld Longden Avenue in the City of Arcadia:
(a) Upon the northerly side of Longderi Avenue at or near
the easterly prop'~rty line of Second Avenue.
(b) Upon the southerly side of Longden Avenue at or near
the westerly prop'~rty line of Second Avenue.
Each of said signs shall conform with the requirements
of Section 23 of Ordinance No. 200 of the City of Arcadia, and
Section 471 of thl~ Vehicle Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
