THE CIl'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF ARC.'tDIA DOES R,c;SOLVE AS FOLLO;'/S: SECTION 1. UHBREAS, the City Council has heretofore ordered the City Clerk of the City of Arcadia to publish notice for bids for furnishing f.o.b. Arcadia, Calif~rnia, 610 squares, more or less, of corrugated iron roofing, as per plans and specifications on file in the office of said City Clerk, said bids to be received up to November 8, 1939. That p'.lrsuant to said notice for bids, A.t!. Castle and Company of Los ~J~eles, California, offered to furnish to the City of Arcauia, 368.32 squares of 28 ~auge cor-'u,'ated iron roofing at a price of (/4.71 per square. No;-r, T;BR;::FORi:>, BE IT R;~SOLVJD, that all bids presented be re jected and '~hat the bonds or checks accompanying the same be by the City Clerlt returned forthVTith. BE IT FUrlTH2R RESOL\~D, that this City Council does hereby declare and determine that in its opinion said material and/or supplies may be furnished to the City of Arcadia at a lower price on the open market. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the f.1doption of this Resolution. I hereby certify that the foreGoing Res:llution \78S adopted at a re[':ularly adjourned meetin<:; of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 14th dey of November, 1939, by the affirmative vote of at least four councilmen, to-wit: AYES: Councilmen Bolz, Griffitts, Leeper, Perkins & Walter NOES: None ABSEI:T: None Sisoed and approved tnis ,1939.
