RESOLUTION NO. 60. 1 A RESOLUTION OF' THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION 2 IN SAID CITY OF' ARCADIA ON THE 10th. DAY OF' APRIL, 1922, PROVIDING FOR THE POLLING PLACE FOR THE HOLDING OF SUCH ELECTION, APPOINTING 3 THE ELECTION OFFICERS FOR THE SAME AND FIXING THEIR COMPENSATION. 4 THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO RE- SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 5 6 That a General Municipal Election be and the same is hereby called to be held in said City of Arcadia on Monday,the 10th. day of April, 1922, for the purpose of voting upon that cer- tain.proposition hereinafter specified and electing the following Officers, to-wit: 1: Three members of the Board of Trustees of said City to hold office for the full term or period of four years from and after the 17th. day of April. 1922. 2: One member of the Board of Trustees of said City to hold office for the unexpired term or period of two years from and after the 17th. day of April, 1922. That there shall be submitted to the qualified elect- ors of said City of Arcadia at said General Municipal Election the question whether the President of said Board of Trustees and as a member thereof, shall receive as compensation for his services as such President and member of said Board of Trustees, the sum of $7.50 for eaoh and every meeting of said Board actually attended by him, not exoeeding two meetings a month, and whether each of the other members of said Board of Tnustees shall receive as com- pensation for his services as such member thereof, the sum of $5.0 for each and every meeting of said Board actually attended by him, not exceeding two meetings a month. That the voter at such General Municipal Election shall mark his ballot by stamping a cross (X) opposite the answer he desires to give to the question hereinabove specified. That said election shall in all other respects, con- form to the General Election Laws of the St~te of California, inso- 2 3 4 5 far as the same are applicable to General Municipal Elections in 6 Cities of the Sixth Class. Lacev 18 19 That the compensation to be paid to each ofila.id Elec- 20 tion Officers for all services to be by him or her rendered at such 21 election shall be and the same is hereby fixed at the sum of $5.00. 22 That said Aroadia City Consolidated Precinct No.1 23 hereinabove named and referred to, comprises Aroadia City Preoinct 24 No. 1 and Arcadia City Precinct No.2 as established and designated 25 by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles, State of 26 California, for the holding of the last General Election and that 27 the boundaries of said Arcadia City Consolidated Precinct No. 1 28 are the boundaries of said City of Arcadia and that said Arcadia 29 City Consolidated Precinct No. 1 is coextensive with the City Limits 30 of said City of Arcadia. 31 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this 32 Resolution and shall cause the same to be published three times in -2- ~, RiAl. 6() o , Q Z :1 c z~~z ~.c(.:l[ ~ z 0 OJ-C~ ~ .
