RESOLUTION NO. 2252 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A GRANT OF EASEMENT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Upon the investigation and recommendation of the City l1anager and the Superintendent of the Water Department of the City of Arc~dia, that the publlc convenience and necessity require tha granting of the easement hereinafter described; that the granting of such easement will not be detrimental or injurious to the city-owned property involved; that the easement hereinafter granted is of nominal value only, and will be of benefit to the City of Arcadia and the residents thereof. SECTION 2. That the Mayor and Clty Clerk of the City of Arcadla be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Arcadia, in favor of Southern Counties Gas Company of California, a corporation, a grant of easement affecting a portion of city-owned property located at the corner of Baldwln and Orange Grove Avenues in the City of Arcadla, as more particularly described and for the purposes set forth in that certain grant of easement approved as to form b'" the Cl ty Attorney, and to dellver the same to the grantee therein named without monetary conslderation. SECTION 3. City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
