RESOLUTION NO. 2253 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARillG ITS illTENTION TO ESTABLISH AND RE-ESTABLISH A SETBACK LINE ON A PORTION OF THE EASTERLY SIDE OF SANTA ANITA AVENUE ill SAID CITY. THE CITY COUNTY OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. That the publlc interest and convenlence requlre and it Is the intention of said City Council to establish I and re-establish a setback line on a portion of the easterly side of Santa Anita Avenue, in said city, to wit: A setback line of twenty-flve feet (25') easterly from and parallel with the easterly line of Santa Anita Avenue, affecting the followlng descrlbed property in the City, of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of Ca1ifornla: Lots 1 to 5 inclusive, 40 to 49 inclusive, and 84 to 88 inclusive, all of Tract 7820, per map recorded in Book 83 of Maps at Page 30, in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, and Lot 1 of Tract 31l2, per map recorded in Book 29 of Maps at Page 68, in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County. SECTION 2. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday" the first day of July, 1952, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. of sald day, in the council chambers of the City Hall of said City, any and all persons having any objection to the sald proposed setback line may appear before said Council and show cause why said proposed setback line should not be established and re-estab1ished in accordance wlth this reso1utlon. SECTION 3. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to be posted the notices required by Ordinance 229 of the City of Arcadia, as amended. \.,.~w:>>" ~ ~ ~ - SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify 'to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause the same to be publlshed once in the Arcadia Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, published and clrculated in the Clty of Arcadia. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 4th day of June, 19,2, by the afflrmative vote of at least three councilmen, to wit: AYES: Counc ilmen NOES: Councilmen now, Hulse, Kennett, Nottingham and Schmocker None ABSENT: Councilmen None f Arcadla SIGNED AND APPROVED thls 4th day of yor of the City of Arcadla -2-
