WBEREA5, Walter B. Marston requested pe1'lDission to manufacture rotary valves tor musical instruments, in connection Wltb the bUsi- ness ot musical instrument serVicing and repair, and proposes to conduct such business on property in Zone C-2 in tbe City of Arcadia; and WHEREAS, ambiguI ty has arIsen concerning the appropl'la te cle.seificatlon .of sucb use wltbin tbe meaning and intent of Ordlnance No.760 of the CIty of Arcadla, partIcularly under Section 9-A-2 tbereot; and WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the CIty Planning Comm1ss1on of the CIty of ArcadIa said Comm1sslon ascertained tbe facts and tully considered th'3 .tter pursuant to whicb said Collllll1sslon pass- ed and adopted a certain Resolution No.74 entItled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLAlmING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING THE CI.ASSIFICATION OF THE BUSINESS OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENT SERVICING AND REPAIR AND MANUFACTURING OF INSTRUMENT PARTS INCIDENTAL TBERE'l'O.", wberein and wbereby certain findings and recoDllll8Ddations relative to sa1d business were made. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council ot the Clty ot Arcadia, does bereby find, determine and resolve as follows: ~TION 1 - That the business of mus1cal instrument servicing and repair, and tbe manufacture of rotary valves in connection there- wltb, be deemed to be a use pe1'lDiss1ble in Zone C-2 under Section 9-A-2 of OrcU.nance No.760, upon the following conditionsl 1 - Not more tban one (1) person shall be employed in the oporation of any power equipment in connect10n W1tb sucb business. 2 - Not more than ten (10) units of power-driven tools or equ1p1118nt shall be used on the premises or in connection W1th tbe business, and no more than one-balt (1/2) borse powel' motor shall be used on any sucb equipment or power-dr1ven tools, and that no -1- l~Dntt;.C' power equipment be operated otber than between the hours of 8 A.M. and 6 P.M. SECTION 2. The determination bereby made shall be tentative, as restricted to tbe proposed location of 8ucb business at 61 E. Footbl11 BlVd. in the City of Arcadia, Is limited to a period not to exceed Two (2) years, and is subject to resclssion at any,tlme if any condltion bereinabove imposed be Violated, or if experience demonstrates that any provision of Section 9-A-2 of Ordlnance No.76o of tbe Clty of Arcadia, is violated in tbe conduct of such a business. SECTION 3. Tbe City Clerk shall certify to the adoptlon of tbls Resolution.
