RESOLUTION NO.2148
A RE50LUTI ON OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO ESTABLISH AND RE-ESTABLISH A
SETBACK LIl'fE ON A PORTION OF DUARTE ROAD IN SAID
CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES
RESOINE AS FOI,LOWS:
SECTION 1. That the pUblic interest and convenience re-
quitlEI and 1t 1s the intention of said City Counc11 to establish
and J'e-establish a setback line on a portion of Duarte Road in
said City, to wit:
A setback line forty (40) feet southerly from and
parallel with the center line of Duarte Road, from
the Westerly boundary line of BaldWin Avenue to a
point 399.91 feet West of said Westerly line.
SECTION ~ Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the
17th day of July, 1951, at eight o'clock P.M.,ot said day, in
the C1 ty Hall of said City, any and all persons having any ob-
jections to the said proposed setback line may appear before said
Counc:ll and show cause Why said proposed setback line should not
be established and re-establiabed in accordance with this Resolution.
SECTION 3. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or
cause to be posted the notices required by Ordinance No.229 of
the CJ. ty ot Arcadia.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this F:esolution and shall the same to be published once in the
Arcadia Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, published and
circulated in the City of Arcadia.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia
held ~o the 19th day of June, 1951, by the affirmative vote of at
least three Cowlcilmen, to wit:
