Neither the confirmation of any of the foregoing employee's positions, skills, rate classU'ications of specified compensation nor anything else contained in this Resolution shall authorize or require pa;yment of any compensation for services not actually rendered, nor preclude or prevent the CitY' of Arcadia or any proper officer or body thereof .from removing, suspending, hiring, promoting or transferring any of said employees or any other person, in accordance with the ordin- ances, rules or regulations of the citY' of Arcadia. No recital in the foregoing Resolution shall confer anY' status upon any individual not already acquired bY' such individual heretofore, it being the sole intent and purpose of the foregoing to adopt a revised wage schedule for the CitY' of Arcadia, to tr8l1S1ate all prior saler;r rates and cost of living adjustments into such revised wage scale and to itemize and re- capitulate all the in!'ormation hereinabove contained. No error in any of the fore- going Resolution shall confer mY' r~ts whatsoever upon any person in Eose favor such error was made. SECTION 3. The CitY' Clerk shall certify" to the adoption of this Resolution.
