A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA FIXING THE TAX LEVY FOR llUNICIPAL PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1951-52 UPON ALL THE TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE -CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWSI SECTION 1.Tha't there shall be BlId there is hereby ;levied fur municipal purposes rar the- fiscal year 1951-52 upon each ONE HlllIDRID ($100.00) DOLLARS warth of assessed 'valuation of taxable property with:1n the City of Arcadia, (pro- vided that no property within any- territor:yheretofore annexed to the CitY" or Arcadia shall be taxed to pay any portion of the principal or intezoest on bonds of the City- of Arcadia outstanding on the date of such annexation except those properties included in the territories designated as "!Vest Arcadia Annex" , ''West >>,cadia Annex No.2", "!Vest Arcadia Annex No.4" ,which shall be taxed equally with all other property with:1n the City- of Arcadia to pay the bonded indebtedness of the City- outstanding for 1946 sewer bonds heretofore authorized and issued by the CitY" of Arcadia and any indebtedness hereto!'ore authorized and to be represented by bonds of the City- of Arcadia hereafter to be issued, as provided respectively in Ordinance No. 641 adopted April 15, 1947, Ordinance No. 651 adopted June 3, 1947, and Ordinance No. 759 adopted March 15, 1949), a tax as follows I For all IIIlUlicipal purposes, exclusive of the payment of taxes for public library purposes, Planning ('.nmmi"sion, pa;yment of principal and interest on bonded indebtedness of the City, and payment of the obligation of the City- for employees' retirement, under provisions of the Calif"ornia State Employees' Retirement Act, the sum of $.7352; For the purpose of payment of contril>ution of the City of Arcadia to state Employees' Retirement System, the SUIII of $.1376; For the purpose of supporting and defraying the expense of the public library of said City of Arcadia, the SUIII of $.ll04; For the purpose of paying the principal BJ:ld interest of "Library Bonds 1929, interest and sinking 1'und", the sum of $.0056; For the purpose of paying the principal and interest of "Street Bonds 1914, Interest and Sinking Fund", the eum of $.Oll6; \"O~# -~ For the purpose of pay:ing the principal and interest of "street Bonds ."1'..... 1924, Interest and Sinking Fund", the sum of $.0233 J For the purpose of paying the principal and :lllterest of "l'fater Bonds 1914, Interest and Sinking Fund", the sum of $.0113; Far the purpose of pqing the principal and interest of "l'fster Bonds 1919, Interest and Sinking FUnd", the sum of $.0146; Far the purpose of paying the principal and interest of "l'fater Bonds 1927, Interest and Sinking Fund", the sum of $.0243; "t Fore the purpose of pa;ying the principal and interest of "Sewer Bonds I .t, ~ ') 1946, Interest and Sinking Fund", the sum of $.0409; Far the purpose of supporting and da1'rs;ying the expense of the City Planning Commission of the City of ArCadia, the sum of $.0050; That the rate of taxes necessary to be levi.ed for the fiscal year 1951-52 for defrqing the expense of ~tenance and operation of the lighting and mainten- ance districts of said City shall be, and the same is hereby fixed, established and levied (pursuant to Section 18730 of the streets and Highways Code of the State of California) at the following rate, upon each one hundred ($1.00) dollars of the assessed valuation of taxable land, exclusive of improvements, in each district I District No.1, the sum of $.5745 ; District No.2, the sum of $.2404 ; District No.3, the sum of $.30033 . SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Bullet:ln, a newspaper of gener- al Circulation, printed and published in this City, within fifteen (15) d~ after the date of its adoption. I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City council of the City of ArCadia, held on the 21st day of August, 1951, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to witl NlE31 Councllmelll Kennett, Nottingham.
